Job Title: Director Global Processes and Performance Management

Location: Singapore

Business Contribution:

Lead the department of Processes and Performance Management, to monitor the Supply Chain performance, ensuring that the function has the processes, tools, platforms, and capabilities to maximize all strategic and tactical opportunities, and is well integrated with both Supply Chain and the business as a whole. Ensures accuracy, transparency, and clarity for all reported functional metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the realization of synergies and full savings potential through the development and implementation of globally aligned processes and systems, as well as supporting alignment of elements such as master data

  • Monitor and report on the performance of the Supply Chain function

  • Ensure that the Process & Performance department contributes to the Group Health &Safety ambition

  • Lead the quarterly and yearly management cycle for the Supply Chain function globally: consolidation of BU and country procurement saving plans & budgets; challenge and monitoring of completion

  • Manage global Supply Chain and Quality Assurance platforms as needed to ensure accuracy and transparency in spend and savings reporting, performance measurement and other information as required. Support global strategies

  • Drive the implementation and use of e-Procurement and e-sourcing tools and platforms

  • Provide input and represent the function in the definition of the strategy and business needs of Supply Chain with respect to Group Systems including ERPs. Supervise the implementation of the related model into the systems and validate changes

  • Ensure that all business requirements for tools and systems globally are defined according to global strategy, and manage the team members in both day-to-day and project contexts. Through this management, ensure appropriate Procurement representation and integration cross-functionally

  • Contribute to define meaningful measures of performance (savings, forecasting, process efficiency, quality, etc.) that support the global goals of the Supply Chain function, and ensure measures of performance, as well as tools and platforms, are fully aligned with other functions and initiatives across the Group

  • Ensure that all functional controls are in place (e.g. P2P, process, etc.) are applied and executed according to design, in collaboration with internal audit

  • Maintain tools and systems in close cooperation with all business units and country organizations, to ensure proper performance reporting and compliance measurement within the function

Key Interfaces, Stakeholders and Relationships:


  • VP Global Sourcing and the entire Supply Chain Network

  • Segment Leaders and Functional organizations (esp. IT, Finance, and audit)


  • Solution and implementation providers

  • Communities of practice and professional organizations for senior and top managers

  • Network of peers in own/other industries

Required Capabilities:

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, IT

  • Advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA)

  • Minimum 10 years business experience:

  • 5 years in procurement management with exposure to supply chain management, complex strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards

  • Or finance background an alternative, experience as a controller, finance officer, etc. a plus

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management

  • Full accountability and high autonomy in execution of role within the function, and significant influence across the business, directly influencing all business units and countries in the areas of processes (P2P) and platforms, performance management, and reporting of results

  • Proven performance in managing and developing an international team in a global or regional procurement function (or equivalent)

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage and deliver complex projects across multiple cultures, countries and regions

  • Proven ability to manage and transform processes and necessary IT infrastructure

  • Proven capability in deployment and use of business applications, strong experience and knowledge of ERP systems

  • Ability to effectively lead people and manage by influence

  • Results oriented

  • Creative, with the ability to drive and inspire organizational changes and innovation

  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence effectively at all levels

  • Ability to build and contribute to influential networks

  • Change Management

  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time
