Circadence Corporation Director, Business Strategy and Development - Remote in United States

Job Title: Director, Business Strategy and Development (BSD) Department: Federal Services Job Purpose: Promote growth of current contract base and lead Business Development. Our core area of expertise is the development and management of cyber range capabilities, implementation of policies, processes and tools required to conduct cyber assessments, and cyber workforce development using Project Ares gamified training platform. Circadence has spent more than a decade working with the Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) and Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC) Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) Network (JMN), building cyber ranges and participating in cyber T&E, exercises, and training events. JMN is part of the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). Research and development programs focus on tools and services to enhance cyber operations. Job Description: Circadence is seeking a Director for Business Strategy and Development (BSD) to support efforts across the DoD and Federal Government. The BSD Director will participate in current business strategy development, and create Business Development plans for business growth both on existing IDIQ contracts and new opportunities. The BSD Director will interact with current and potential customer(s) and industry partners, qualify opportunities, and support capture and proposal activities. Required Skills/Experience: · Oversee and participate in current business execution and participate in strategy development for existing business. Gain in-depth understanding of company capabilities and create customer and/or market-specific marketing strategies and narratives. Focus on identifying and developing adjacent DoD customers to promote use of existing IDIQ contract ceiling. · Lead opportunity pipeline reviews and coordinate across company stakeholders (i.e., Executive staff, Operations). · Identify opportunities able to obtain a high PWIN potential, qualify opportunities and work with Circadence team to develop our best competitive stance. · Identify, influence, and develop strategies to promote Circadence’s offerings with clients through varying mechanisms (i.e., Market Research, RFIs, White Papers, etc). · Co-author and manage responses to government market research inquiries (i.e., RFIs, White Papers, etc), attend industry events, and participate in internal/external thought leadership initiatives. · Build and maintain a network of strategic partners across target markets. Work as a liaison and facilitator between internal groups and teaming partners. Must be able to manage and act as a lead on subcontractor opportunities as a main POC with teaming partners. · Develop and maintain lasting relationships with government customers through routine, meaningful interactions across all target segments to gain valuable intelligence and insights and subsequently position Circadence as a trusted partner. · Be able to lead opportunity Pursuit and support Capture and Solution development in creating solutions-to-win. Ensure that customer and market intelligence is woven into developing realistic and technically sound solutions that will resonate with customers through delivering a winning proposal while minimizing company risk. · Deliver and participate in presentations and communications to internal and external audiences. · As a Senior Advisor you will assist in managing relationships for DoD customers. You will help us understand the human terrain with customers, as well as provide insights on the budgets, priorities, and upcoming pipeline of programs. This role will support both existing contracts, as well as new growth efforts with our DoD sales team. · Improve our brand awareness and credibility in the DoD space. · Cultivate existing relationships and build new ones with key government leaders, industry stakeholders, etc. · Contribute to onboarding new customers and revenue retention with current customers. · Provide feedback for project teams ahead of key leader engagements, demonstrations, and white paper submissions. · Attend client and industry conferences, industry days, and networking events. · Manage customer relations by soliciting and capturing client feedback. Identify areas to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business. Work closely with our Operations and Product teams to drive lasting customer success. Qualifications: · Experience with DoD cyber programs, experience translating customer requirements into technical solution offerings, demonstrated success both developing a qualified new business pipeline and winning new business. Prior Military experience a plus. · Directly related experience with DoD and Federal government Cyber and IT markets. · Successful past performance developing customer relationships, developing a qualified pipeline, building industry relationships, and leading business development efforts. · Experience working with technical teams to develop and evolve win strategies, key offer elements, competitive discriminators and resulting win themes. · Must have in-depth knowledge of the Federal government acquisition and budgeting processes, current acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors (Federal GWACs/IDIQs/BPAs /OTAs), as well as the FAR and its supplements. · Drive new business and expand existing relationships across the Department of Defense · Coordinate and deliver targeted demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to key customers. · Existing relationships and knowledge of target organizations and the component agencies (defense agencies). · Experience building a quick and accurate insight of competitors and competitor behaviors in target markets. · Active TS/SCI Security Clearance · Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel and Power Point; ability to create, edit and manage high quality content that is clear, on-point, and that is professional in terms of accurate use of grammar, structure, quality graphics, etc. · Candidate must live in the United States and be a U.S. Citizen Education : Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
