The Corporate Staff Accountant will serve as a key member of the corporate finance team. The position will be responsible for various financial and consolidation tasks involving month-end close, internal and external reporting and master data support. The position will also assist with various projects necessary to support ongoing business initiatives, as needed. The candidate will have exposure to many levels and functions within the organization, including key business group leaders, accounting and financial planning and analysis.

Major Responsibilities:

Monthly Close Responsibilities

• Review monthly subsidiary financial submissions and work with subsidiaries to ensure submissions are complete and accurate

• Publish monthly foreign exchange rates

• Assist with mapping new subsidiary trial balance accounts into consolidation structure

• Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries, debt and equity reconciliations and intercompany matching report

• Generate and tie-out consolidated financial statements

• Validate, compile and publish monthly financial book

• Participate in monthly subsidiary financial statement review meetings

Quarterly/Annual Responsibilities

• Assist with 10-Q and 10-K SEC filing processes, as needed

• Ensure timely completion of subsidiary variance analyses, monthly close tasks and balance sheet account reconciliations

• Prepare annual financial close calendar

• Assist with preparation of audit/review requests

Other Miscellaneous Duties

• Expectation that candidate will become familiar with OneStream, able to assist Consolidation Manager and serve as back-up support for certain tasks

• Assist with the financial integration of newly acquired companies

• Support internal control and financial policy compliance projects

• Lead intercompany cross charge and funding processes – ensure policy/documentation compliance and accurate accounting

• Assist with periodic account reconciliation compliance and lease audits

• Assist in coordination of quarterly global finance “Learning Program” and annual finance conference

• Additional analysis or ad hoc projects, as needed

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting

• Minimum 1-year of relevant accounting or internship experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Project management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley, US GAAP and IFRS

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Candidate is working towards Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and/or MBA

• Experience with OneStream, Hyperion or similar consolidation software

• Experience working in or with a global manufacturing environment
