Job Overview:

The Legal Division at Olive is dedicated to providing top notch service and support to all Olive divisions and business units. As in-house counsel in Olive’s rapidly growing legal department, the candidate will be uniquely positioned to develop professionally in an incredibly fast-paced environment at a high-growth AIaaS company. The Corporate Counsel’s primary focus will be to support the Olive Works and Olive Helps (customer sales, delivery, and related partnerships) business units, with a focus on drafting and negotiating AIaaS agreements, NDAs, and other agreements with Olive customers. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, collaborative in approach, has good judgment, and is able to navigate a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Olive deploys a flexible, distributed workforce and this position can be located anywhere in the United States. The candidate is expected to be generally available during normal business hours and will report to the Senior Corporate Counsel responsible for the Olive Works and Olive Helps business units.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating, drafting, and executing AIaaS contracts and other agreements with customers, vendors, and partners

  • Offering counsel on a variety of contracting legal issues, as needed

  • Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals

  • Support the Senior Corporate Counsel in identifying, evaluating, and advising on legal risks

  • Providing training to the company on legal topics, as necessary

  • Support to other Olive divisions and business units, as assigned


  • Must have 1-3 years of experience gained in a law firm and/or in-house

  • Undergraduate and law degrees; active membership in at least one U.S. state bar

  • Contracts or transactional legal experience, with an emphasis on SaaS or AIaaS agreements preferred

  • Exceptional negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues

  • Ability to weigh realistic legal risks against practical business considerations

  • Ability to manage time effectively and align priorities under the direction of the Senior Corporate Counsel

  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, distributed, dynamic, team-oriented environment

  • Ability to maintain composure and a positive, can-do attitude under pressure

  • Exceptional EQ, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization

  • Health care experience a big plus, but not required
