Penn Dental Medicine has an ongoing need for Clinical Receptionists across many different departments. This posting describes the basic responsibilities and requirements for a Clinical Receptionist role. The ideal candidate for a CLINICAL RECEPTIONIST with Penn Dental Medicine's clinical departments will provide superior patient-focused experiences supporting the delivery of high-quality care.

PATIENT EXPERIENCE

· Professionally greet & assist patients at the front desk of assigned clinical department.

· Consistently demonstrate concern and courtesy for colleagues and patients, following up with individuals to ensure satisfaction with the level of service expected.

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Accurately gather/update update patient accounts.

· Resolve patient inquiries and concerns and/or provide support in connecting patients to department or party who can provide resolution.

· Review appointment book in support of maintaining productive & efficient patient flow.

· Dedication to learning and professional development.

· Other duties as assigned.

A High School Diploma or GED and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with windows based software required. Axium dental software experience preferred. One to Two years’ experience in professional office setting required. Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Pay Range

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
