Lyric Client Sales Executive - Healthcare in United States

The Client Executive will serve as relationship owner (internally and externally) to sell Lyric’s growing suite of products and services across our clients. This team member will build a strong understanding of Lyric’s product offerings as well as our client’s strategic priorities and pain points to evangelize the value proposition for Lyric’s software and ultimately drive maximum savings for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, executes, manages, and updates actionable and outcome focused sales plans to meet or exceed the target growth for assigned book of business, which will include 3-7 Health Plans looking to continuously optimize their Payment Integrity and Accuracy programs

  • Manages the identification and development of key account relationships, leveraging Lyric’s SMEs to drive deeper, more senior relationships across assigned Health Plans

  • Grow customer footprint across current offerings and platform partner ecosystem

  • Takes ownership, responsibility and accountability for the full lifecycle of the sales process (internally and externally) by establishing and maintaining multiple relationships at every level (across Finance, Services, Solution Design, Clinical, Legal), including the C-Level, and effectively collaborating with them throughout the lifecycle of the complex sales process

  • Leverages all Sales & Marketing technology (e.g. SFDC, LinkedIn) to ensure clear reporting on the opportunity status in accounts and leveraging all tools available to build pipeline and engagement from customers

  • Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement

  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers including speaking to or negotiating with customers, influencing other executives and/or academics, lobbying regulators or policy makers and representing the organization on matters of great significance

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and growing a $10M+ book of business in a software business selling Payment Integrity solutions into Health Insurance Plans

  • 10+ years of sales experience in healthcare software companies with a minimum 3+ years of sales experience selling Payment Integrity solutions

  • Success in navigating decision-making processes across largest 30 health insurers in the country

  • Experience with single-state BCBS plans and large regional players

  • Proven and consistent track record of achieving maximum sales value vs target, profitability, growth and account penetration within a defined book of business, using a variety of proactive and creative structured methods

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior level (including C level) contacts – quickly establishing and utilizing cross-functional relationships to ensure all decision makers are covered

  • Ability to manage the entire complex sales process, including partnering with the senior Sales team to negotiate and close complex deals

  • Ability to lead the creation of sales materials and value proposition positioning in line with customer’s needs and requirements

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and/or other CRM tools

  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills with a high attention to detail

  • Analytical capabilities to break down complex technical tasks into executable and measurable steps

  • Consistent understanding of strategy, ability to translate it into defined plans, and "stay the course" while anticipating and identifying where change or mitigation is needed

  • Ability to travel for customer meetings one week per month
