Preferred Qualifications:
Completed Master’s Degree in College Student Development, Higher Education or related field at the time employment begins. Knowledge of the unique needs of first year, second year, and transfer students.
Work, internship or practicum experience in career development, advising or first year programming ; solid foundation in counseling skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task and take initiative; ability to lead and mentor students; a commitment to inclusivity, diversity and social justice as demonstrated by success in program development and delivery; and a passion for working with first/second year and transfer/early college students.
Type of Position: Full Time Position
Work Schedule/Hours: This position will have a standard Monday - Friday 8:00 to 5:00 work schedule that may be modified to accommodate evening and weekend work.
