AON Associate Account Executive in United States

What the day will look like

  • Review bids and prepare sunshine letters, surety bonds and invoice preparation;

  • Lead by example and assist colleagues in delivering DAU to clients and prospects;

  • Delivering continuous excellence in servicing an existing book;

  • Collaborate with fellow colleagues in Edmonton and Calgary branches to deliver the best of Aon to clients and prospects in need of construction advisory service and solutions;

  • Identifying specific client and prospect needs and developing innovative and cost effective solutions;

  • Ensure all procedures, internal client files and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;

  • Reviewing and revise Surety facilities

  • Coordinating / providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;

  • Participating in industry sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;

  • Leading by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business;

  • Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Construction & Infrastructure Group [C&I] within Aon Reed Stenhouse in Edmonton, Alberta. As Associate Account Executive, you will report directly to the regional Manager, Construction & Infrastructure, Kevin Whitson.

    Our ideal candidate brings some surety related experience. They have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a broad range of audiences.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;

  • Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;

  • Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, including both self-directed learning and in-role training.
