Job Description

The College of Business is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that will start in Fall 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach three Management courses in Human Resources, Strategic Management, or Organizational Behavior or Leadership at both undergraduate and graduate per semester. The mode of delivery may be a mixture of face-to-face and/or online. Graduate courses are offered on weekends and evenings during the week.

  • Produce high-quality peer-reviewed research publications.

  • Present research at national and regional academic conferences.

  • Serve on college and university committees as assigned.

  • Engage in student advising, serve the university community.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Management or equivalent.

  • ABD status will be considered, but applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in Management or equivalent prior to being appointed to the position.

  • Ability to produce intellectual publications is required.

  • Experience in teaching similar courses at the College/University level is expected.

  • Ability to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Human Resources will be the focus. Another expectation would be to teach organizational behavior, Strategic Management, or Leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of teaching experience at College/University level.

  • A research portfolio with Peer-reviewed journal articles and an established future research agenda.
