The team is a part of Group Supplier Quality with more than 50 colleagues. The position is located in our Group Supplier Quality in Serbia”, says Supplier Quality Manager, Regis Krys.

What is the job about?

Being an Advance Supplier Quality Engineer, you will carry out the activities and improvements in relation to products approval (PPAP), where supplier involvement is needed. You will be acting as a link between the supplier, project management, SQM organization, and plants during the component approval process. Your responsibility starts when the demand for a VPC arises and ends with the successfully approved component VPC.

Furthermore, you will be working with different stakeholders as a single point of contact specifically:

Supplier Contact

  • Assess the supplier readiness for VPC

  • Ensure the supplier understands the project scope (drawings, VPC requirements, other Grundfos requirements)

  • Assess the potential suppliers’ capabilities by using different audit tools

  • Create action plans based on audit findings, make follow-up on

  • In case of a knowledge gap, take the necessary actions, including training

  • Consult with CM in case of commercial questions

  • Consult with the Suppliers, be part of the drawing refining – acting as SQD

Project management contact

  • Ensure a smooth information flow between the interested parties

  • Primer contact between project management and Plant, SQM organisation

  • Facilitate the Project, VPC, and 0 meetings

  • Ensure the VPC approvals according to the best possible timing, without any compromising on Quality, consider all factors from Grundfos point of view

  • Take part in the supplier selection process, in the early project phase, in case

PD contact

  • Assess the drawing and technical requirements, in questions escalate to the design team

  • Consult and involve the related SQDs if necessary

SC contact

  • Ensure the delivery dates/quantity from suppliers to match the VPC needs

  • Manage to realize the agreed deadlines

Plant contact

  • Key participant in the VPC process, responsible for assessing outcomes by considering various contributions, holds the authority for final approval while fulfilling the role of SQE

  • Consult and involve the related SQEs if necessary

  • Propose IQC set-up for the upcoming deliveries

  • Track the related VPC stock items, and make sure no leftovers at the project ends.

What do you need to apply?

We imagine that you have:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar

  • 3-5 years of professional engineering experience

  • Technical knowledge (reading the drawings, GPS, CAD models)

  • Experience in quality tools (capability, FMEA, CP, MSA, etc.)

  • Good in SAP, Q-stat, and office applications

  • Willingness to travel when required

  • Greatproficiency inEnglish.
