Summary You will serve as an NCTE Engineering Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) in the LIVE VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTIVE TRAINING DIVISION, RANGE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Corona, CA or Virginia Beach, VA. The NT-05 salary range varies per location: Virginia Beach - $104,861 to $161,090; Corona - $120,246 to $184,725 The salary ranges shown above are capped at the GS-13 Step 10 ($136,323 in Virginia Beach; $156,323 in Corona, CA) Responsibilities You will effectively analyze cost, schedule, and performance for the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Development and Engineering, Operation and Maintenance, Cybersecurity and IT service contracts. You will develop technical solutions and alternatives, implement approved courses of actions, and follow up on corrective or outstanding actions to ensure consistent delivery of quality products and services in support of Fleet Training. You will ensure compliance with technical requirements in direct support of the NCTE Program Manager. You will participate in system tests and assessments regarding suitability and effectiveness for transition of new systems or capabilities from Development and Engineering to Operation and Maintenance. You will ensure successful Quality Program execution to oversee and evaluate technical support, production, integration, logistics, operations, maintenance, mission support, cybersecurity and all functions required by NCTE contracts. You will measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the support provided and as needed to meet fleet customer and sponsor requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing quality assurance checks and inspections to analyze cost, schedule and performance for an engineering and information technology quality assurance program. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
