As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility would be to manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. You would need to identify new customers (restaurant and unique venue), conduct site visits to understand their requirements, prepare proposals tailored to their needs, and negotiate contracts and service accounts to secure business partnerships.

At Tripleseat, we believe in the power of exceptional sales talent to drive our success. We are always on the lookout for passionate and high-performing individuals to join our dynamic sales team. If you're a top-tier SaaS sales professional with a proven track record of success and are eager to contribute to a thriving and innovative environment, we encourage you to submit your application. This is a home office based role for eligible candidates in the United States and will require regular presence in their assigned territory.

*Please note the internal title for this role is Regional Sales Manager.

What you will do:

  • Prospect in the assigned territory: You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and revenue by proactively prospecting in your assigned territory. This will involve identifying potential customers, reaching out to them through various outbound prospecting techniques, and building a qualified pipeline of opportunities that is at least 5 times the annual revenue quota.

  • Achieve sales targets: You will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets through independent outbound prospecting activities. In addition, you will use your opportunity building skills to uncover the business value for the customer and position Tripleseat as the solution to their needs.

  • Collaborate with Tripleseat counterparts: You will work closely with other teams within Tripleseat, such as account management, inside sales, and support sales, to maximize revenue capture from customers and prospects in your assigned territory. This will involve coordinating efforts, sharing information, and collaborating on strategies to effectively engage customers and close deals.

  • Using professional selling practices and tools: You will utilize formal professional selling practices and tools to effectively engage with prospects, present Tripleseat's value proposition, and close sales deals.

  • Software Demonstrations: You will deliver software demonstrations to potential customers, both in person and virtually. Through demonstrations you will showcase the feature and benefits of Tripleseat software, highlighting how we can address customer pain points. You will also provide technical expertise during the demonstrations, addressing questions of software functionality, integration and use cases.

  • Proposal Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive and compelling proposals that outline the benefits and features of your product or service. You would need to clearly articulate how your offering can add value to the customer, align with their business objectives, and provide a return on investment. Your proposals will be tailored to each customer's unique needs and requirements.

  • Contract Negotiation: You would negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships. You would need to understand the customer’s budget constraints, contract terms, and legal requirements, while also protecting your Tripleseat’s interests.

  • Maintaining CRM database and providing accurate reports: You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the CRM database with accurate and up-to-date information on customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline status. You will also provide weekly reports reflecting the status of your territory and pipeline, as well as any relevant sales activities and outcomes.

  • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of product, competitors, and market: You will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of Tripleseat's product offerings, as well as the competitive landscape and market trends. This will enable you to effectively position Tripleseat as a leading solution in the market and address customer inquiries or objections with confidence.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated success in achieving quota in software sales and/or SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Proven ability to establish and manage executive-level customer relationships, with a strong network of contacts within the hospitality industry.

  • Ability to handle multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Successful track record of working in a remote work environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently.

  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with extended team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Customer Support, Development, Marketing, and Sales Management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent writing, editing, and presenting abilities, with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to customers and sales team.

  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems, with a strategic and analytical mindset to identify solutions.

  • Ability to develop sales strategies and execute them effectively, adapting to changing market dynamics and customer needs.
