IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking aSubcontracts Administratorto join their Contracts Division at the Corporate office in Huntsville, Alabama. Candidates for this position should possess a background in Subcontracts Administration and/or Contracts a with strong interpersonal skills to support all of the areas pertaining to subcontract matters for our Department of Defense contract activity. The selected candidate will be responsible for all subcontract matters including negotiations, resolving issues, administering subcontractor awards, and relationships from cradle-to-grave. A strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively with others and a healthy desire to acquire new skills are paramount in this position.

Job Duties:

  • Administration of subcontract documents

  • Reviewing, improving, and maintaining subcontracts and purchasing policies and procedures to comply with a Company Purchasing System.

  • Monitoring changes and tracking of all subcontract activity from Primes to cover BPA or IDIQ with T&M, FFP, CPFF Task Orders.

  • Review performance requirements and ensures subcontracts are in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications.

  • Collect and review subcontractor deliverables and invoices.

  • Prepare reports and analysis as required.

  • May assist with issuing and collecting subcontractor data calls during proposals.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and General Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in the Federal Government Contracting Industry is desired, or advanced degree in lieu of experience may be accepted. A successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, small business environment as a team player performing a variety of functions including administration, monitoring, and tracking all subcontract type activity (T&M, FFP, IDIQ, CPFF, etc.).

Candidate experience should include:

  • One (1) year subcontract administration is required.

  • Experience in a Subcontracts Department and familiarity with CPSR requirements is desired.

  • Strong working knowledge of FARs, DFARs, and GSA regulations.

  • Customer action-oriented with good negotiating skills, analytical problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy, an effective communicator, and should possess good interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Excel and Word.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience using JAMIS EFP is a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines is essential.

  • Pricing and proposal activity experience a plus.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance is required.

  • Experience with EXPRESS and GSA Schedules is desired.
