IHG Senior Manager Field Marketing - Asia Pacific (Bangkok based) in Thailand
Purpose of Role
Provide regional marketing leadership to help hotels drive marketing capability and optimise hotel performance, through the delivery of global, regional and local initiatives, in accordance with IHG objectives and regional priorities.
Key Accountabilities:
Define IHG Field Marketing value proposition and strategy with a clear roadmap for EAPAC
Act as a leader of Field Marketing in EAPAC, create and deliver integrated and scalable solutions across the region and divisions
Develop, deliver and lead in-market cost efficient Field Marketing Services for Hire solution for EAPAC
Partner with other regional Field Marketing teams, commercial and revenue mgmt. leaders, DOPs and hotels to identify performance needs and opportunities to support markets to drive performance
Work with commercial and hotel teams on cluster hotel initiatives to find efficiencies and scalable solutions
Serve as the primary lead in the management of hotel-based Marketing solutions (e.g. IHG Boost) focused on driving revenue and brand loyalty from guests and members that increase our share of wallet and drive revenue performance at the hotel level
Integrate and drive effective utilization and localisation of global and regional initiatives and standards into hotels to achieve targets and ensure on-property activation
Build hotel marketing capability by developing and launching the appropriate training, tools, best practices and processes
Information and intelligence gathering and sharing on customers, campaign performance, market and competitors
Support value for key owners with marketing relationships and networks in region
Responsible for local partner marketing development and activation using L&P framework. Evaluate all partnership opportunities and identify gaps/priorities.
Regular hotel marketing updates & communication. Aware of IHG Global, EAPAC and Division level campaigns, and ensures these are leveraged by hotels in region to activate key segments/regions
NHOPs commercial support (as and when needed)
Education
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Brand Management, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Experience
Min 7 years in hospitality or other consumer focused sector, preferably within a large multinational company
Demonstrated strategic proficiency in Hotel, Loyalty, Digital and Partnership Marketing
Experience in engaging cross functional working partnerships in a global organization
Experience within a multi-national operating environment with Asia Pacific market knowledge
Strong decision making and analytical skills with clear understanding of impact on IHG revenue goals and bottom line
Strong leadership, team building, interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated effective influencing & consensus building skills for the purpose of partnership and relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Progressive work-related experience with marketing strategies including board-based marketing Programs
Proficient knowledge of Marketing channels, Paid/Owned Media, and Marketing tools etc.
Proficient knowledge of Hotel commercial and revenue management
