Eaton Corporation Utility & Renewable Sales Team Leader - North Zone in Sweden

Locations: remotely for Ireland, The Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland

Travel rate is between 25% and 40% of the working time in the Northern region

The role is reporting into the EMEA Utility Sales Director

What you’ll do:

In this role, you will:

  • Manage Eaton’s End-to End profit and loss of the portfolio under the responsibility.

  • Develop and execute a strategic direction for North zone aligned to the EMEA business strategic direction and support Eaton’s growth

  • Ensure a good understanding of industry and products as well as the ability to direct the overall sales efforts to continuous growth

  • Act as the Senior Eaton sales representative in the area, providing inspirational leadership to employees internally and acting as an ambassador for Eaton externally

The prime responsibility is to ensure that Eaton meets the agreed budget targets for sales growth and cost in North zone, whilst applying Eaton standard work practices as defined by Eaton Business System (EBS).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short, medium and long-term strategic and tactical plans that support the zone growth plan for the segment

  • Overall responsibility for leading and directing sales professionals

  • Overall fiscal and budgetary responsibility for the sales teams within the country/zone

  • Maintain a commitment to the company’s sales processes, values and business code of ethics

  • Develop and implement world-class sales structure and processes (including systems, metrics, hiring and skill-set development)

  • Responsible for ensuring a reliable forecasting and clear reporting for the country/zone

  • Manage the sales activities within the country/zone to meet agreed budget targets

  • Ensure full deployment and application of Eaton Business System EBS standards within the sales activities

  • Enable cross departments cooperation leading the country/zone towards achievements of the global strategic goals

  • Identify and develop possibilities for future business growth

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ of experience in sales and business management

Skills:

  • Good understanding of electrical industry, preferable Utility and Renewables segments

  • Strong leadership skills are required, strong expertise with managing and developing a team

  • Solid skills in writing and executing strategic sales plans and effective sales proposals

  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively

  • Ability to utilize creative skills effectively

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, inclusive of customer and management presentations

  • Experience in a rapid-growth company or business unit is preferred

  • Good understanding of operating within the legal requirements being compliant with local rules and regulations

  • Ready to develop, influence and build relationships with all departments operating in the country

  • Ready to travel in the region
