Description and Requirements Join our ISG Product Release Operations group, which has gone through the transformation and complete reorganization towards higher efficiency and smart processes as Jr. Application Developer. It is a key role in the new structure supporting senior developers and business analysts. You are going to report to Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence. Junior Application Developer As a Junior Application Developer, you will provide support to senior team members in development of new tools for our extended group, watch incident queue and resolve simple tool bugs or prioritize and route it to more senior team member. You will also cover multiple maintenance related tasks with existing tools and VMs. To excel in this position, you must be a motivated learner, possess technical problem-solving skills and embrace challenges. You will belong to global team working with other teams in US and Beijing timezone, but the shift is in Slovak standard working hours. Responsibilities: Provide technical support for internal tools (mostly written in PHP, HTML, MySQL, Javascript). Review, pre-analyse and priritize incidents related to internal tools and resolve simple technical issues. Maintain server environment (Windows, Linux) with regular upgrades and administration of standard tools (Jira). Design and develop internal tools and / or support senior developers in this activity. Create reports for other teams based on requirements, provide sizing for development tasks and technical consultations. Requirements: Education : Bachelor’s / Master‘s Degree in information systems technology or computer information system management or related. Experiences: 3+ year of work in development team experience preferred. Programming: Experiences with PHP development, PHP-based frameworks is a must, HTML, Javascript, MySQL understanding. Personality: Strong system analytical and problem solving skills, quick learning and self-motivated is critical of this role. Language: Excellent English verbal, and written communication skills and presentation skills to effectively communicate. Additional Skills: Understanding and knowledge of cross system design and integration for mid to large scale companies. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience!
