Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Solution Architect, you will be working with a variety of customers from all sectors and industries to provide consultancy and Oracle Cloud implementation services for our customers. YOU HAVE broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product/technology families within Oracle Fusion Cloud suite of products. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs and owns and drive solution architecture in large deals and large projects.

Your core responsibility is to operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement, understand customers' business challenges and requirements, identify business processes and opportunities to increase efficiency, recommend and influence customer leadership in acceptance of best practice based and innovative solutions using Oracle's Cloud Applications and Technology solutions. You will have opportunities to engage with a variety of customers from all sectors and industries, including banking, insurance, manufacturing, telco, education, government and many others.

Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex business solutions utilizing Oracle Fusion Cloud products and technology to meet customer needs. Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.

Required Skills/Experience

Your drive, knowledge, and commitment will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. We also look for:

  • More than 15 years of experience relevant to this position including 8 to 10 years of consulting experience in IT Implementation Consulting for Oracle E-Business Suite and/or Oracle ERP Cloud Business Applications

  • Strong ERP implementation experience

  • Strong business acumen and accounting knowledge

  • More than 15 years of experience relevant to this position including consulting experience in Supply Chain and Finance Consulting and IT Implementation Consulting for Oracle or other leading Business Application

  • Experience in implementation of following: Oracle E-Business Suite Financials/Oracle Supply Chain and Financials Cloud

  • Prior experience working with large enterprises on consulting, business process improvement and IT implementation

  • Strong experience in leading and driving Pre-Sales for services consulting on Oracle E-Business Suite Financials/Oracle Financials Cloud

  • Operates independently by applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, leading practices, and creativity to develop business solutions on moderately complex customer engagements

  • Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals

  • Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers

  • Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions

  • Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge

  • Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. Lead solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions

  • Strong communication & presentation skills, able to talk comfortably with Finance Leaders and C-level executives

  • Global mindset, geographic mobility and flexibility

  • Passion for Technology and good knowledge of the IT industry

  • Good understanding of market trends and innovation

  • Prior team lead or manager experience

  • Adapting to change

  • Ability to travel as needed
