Microsoft Corporation Partner Development Management Director in Singapore

The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft. Our mission is to lead with AI and build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners that empower people and organizations to achieve more.

Device Partner Sales (DPS) team sits within GPS. We build, market, and sell intelligent edge and intelligent cloud devices and solutions. We work closely with partners and internal business groups to build innovative devices that harness the power of the Microsoft cloud, introduce innovative new AI experiences, and transform how we sell devices and services.

As a member of DPS, you will help grow a multi-billion-dollar business, chart new areas of innovation, and contribute to some of the largest global partnerships at Microsoft. You will also be part of a people-first culture with values that support a growth mindset, diversity, and inclusion.

This role will be responsible for navigating how an AI driven platform shift will shape the device business in Asia with two of the largest and most strategic device partners at Microsoft.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a vision for growing our partners' businesses over a 3-year horizon in Asia.

  • Own sales of Microsoft's existing portfolio of sotware and services that run on our partners' portfolio of consumer and commercial PCs, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and collaboration devices. The MS portfolio includes Modern Work (Windows, M365), Infrastructure (Windows Server and Azure Stack HCI), and AI (Copilot).

  • Build go-to-market strategies for new Microsoft software and services that our partners decide to resell

  • Cultivate external partner executive relationships within the region to ensure there is strong internal sponsorship for and accountability to your joint strategies and goals

  • Lead an experienced internal team of Partner Development Managers who will execute on the partnership vision in the key countries and sub-regions within Asia

  • Collaborate with MS and partner stakeholders to ensure marketing investments are aligned to sales strategies and optimized for maximum ROI

  • Drive partner and internal stakeholder accountability through joint quarterly business reviews that ensure execution excellence and alignment

  • Build and maintain co-selling processes to drive pipeline, ensure focus on key opportunities, and ensure sales targets are achieved

  • Monitor partner satisfaction health of relationships to ensure partner focus on our business

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience.

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 4+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft's Modern Work, Data and AI, and Infrastructure solution areas.
