Cisco APJC Partner Investment and Operations Manager in Singapore

What You'll Do

The Partner Program Manager is a key member of the APJC Partner Architecture, Engineering and Services team who will drive operationalization, execution and adoption of partner investment programs across the region. Reporting to the Director, APJC Partner Organization, this role focused on managing and scaling thought leadership, best practices content, programs and tools within the wider APJC theater sales teams. The person should work across teams to define and provide appropriate analytics to measure the success of these programs and provide recommendations for improvements.

The primary responsibilities' role is to plan, lead, influence, develop, execute and govern the investment program. The success of this role will be measured against the overall efficiency, adoption, and sales impact of the partner program.

To be successful, the Program Manager would need to understand the needs of each theater to ensure sales execution, dedication and profitability of our partner base. The Program manager will play a key role and act as a primary advocate in the design and evolution of the partner programs localized to APJC’s needs, working with the Global Partner Organization in this regard. The Program Manager would collaborate across the various cross-functional teams in the design and execution of these programs including Partner Org, Distribution, Architectures, Segment teams/Sales Teams, Legal, Finance, Tax etc.

Roles and Responsibilities * Responsible for end-to-end strategy, program management, governance, operations and tools for channel partner readiness across APJC region covering entire partner ecosystem. Coverage of all technologies including Enterprise Networking, Service Provider, Collaboration, Data Center & Virtualization and Security. * Engage with WW teams on the strategy, operationalization and execution of the program * Influence WW teams on the design and evolution of the program in line with APJ strategy and needs * Work with local teams on development and evolution as necessary * Lead the programs to ensure adoption and sales impact to the region * Work with Operation and Marketing teams to improve Partner Readiness business processes, operational efficiency, marketing and communications * Lead the Architecture Refresh programs, tools and communication. Manage budget and governance using RTN portal and stakeholders. * Key focus is to support and drive incremental product and solutions sales through the channel to customers, by concentrating on initiatives to develop channel capabilities and competencies of strategic partners in the Architecture Partner List (APL). Ensure program alignment with Architecture strategies and Channel initiatives to drive business impact and Return on Investment (ROI). * Manage program and operation budget. * Analyze and track program performance and provide improvement recommendations to adjust course on program as the need arises * Be the escalation point for the region and WW teams on the specific program, and work on timely resolution of those matters * Organise Pre-council and exec council meeting * Ensure payment is completed to partner and escalate if needed

Who You Are

In order to be successful in the role, you ideally would have 5 years experience in the IT industry, preferably in channel programs development or Operations

Minimum requirements for the role are: * Have program management experience with being able to shift within multiple priorities * Shown ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, think conceptually, execute effectively, deal with ambiguity, drive transparency and work under pressure and lead multiple projects, in some cases, across multiple time zones * Prior experience in leading and managing strategic projects and operations is highly desired * Prior experience in training and building communities of interest (both online/offline) preferred. * Track record of successful performance as a "change agent" within Cisco or other large multinational companies * Excellent skills in excel, powerpoint, word document (ppt for presentations and word doc for manual contracts) and financial reporting * Knowledge of and access to FIN BI and ability to understand the report churn out from system as well as upstream systems (eg CCW and SFDC) * Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across various organizations (products, services, finance) to drive outcomes * Possess analytical skills and proficiency in financial and business modeling, process and financial analysis * Knowledge of the IT industry and the various go-to-market models is desirable * Excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization. * Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university/college. MBA is desirable. * Prior experience in working in Industry Marketing or Go To market teams would be an advantage
