Google Analytics Scalability Solutions Consultant in Singapore

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

  • 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.

  • 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.

  • 5 years of experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems/commands.

  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.

  • 5 years of experience in operations management (e.g., process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc.).

As the Analytics Scalability Consultant, you will ensure that Google makes business and product operational decisions through data and insights. You will lead the development of accessible analytics solutions, empowering technical and non-technical teams to independently explore and analyze data by designing user-friendly analytics tools, integrating Google's analytics products, and designing secure data APIs that enable safe and efficient data access for both people and applications. By enabling self-serve analytics across Payments, this role will reduce reliance on analysts and DI teams, fostering data democratization across payments. This role will play a key part in developing data and analytics solutions for Google Payments by leveraging industry best practices and advanced analytics techniques.Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses.

  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business users to design and develop data services and self-serve analytics solutions.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify gaps, and partner with engineers to design, integrate and scale the analytics tools and solutions for Payments organization.

  • Translate analytics requirements into data models in collaboration with data engineers and analysts.

  • Identify, communicate, resolve operational challenges through communication, and own project management and execution of projects.

  • Lead transformation initiatives from problem definition and solution scoping to design, development, testing, and launch.
