A food and beverage supervisor in a hotel is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage services. Their duties include:

  • Managing staff : Directing and scheduling the kitchen, bar, and food and beverage servers

  • Customer service : Responding to customer feedback and complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction

  • Inventory : Maintaining inventory and controlling costs

  • Menu knowledge : Explaining the food and beverage menu to guests

  • Dining room : Ensuring the cleanliness and general look of the dining room

  • Seating : Assisting in seating customers during peak hours

  • Collaboration : Working closely with the kitchen and service staff

  • Budget : Adhering to the food and beverage budget

  • Safety : Ensuring safety for themselves and others in the workplace

  • Food and safety regulations : Following food and safety regulations
