Liberty Latin America Quality Assurance Senior Analyst in Panama

What's the role

The QA Senior Analyst is responsible for improving overall quality assurance outcomes through the planning, and control of testing to support multiple initiatives that are built and maintained by the Digital transformation direction.

What you'll do

  • Work with Business Owners, Product Owners, Architects, Designers, Delivery Squads, and QA teams to ensure that released software meets requirements and its quality.

  • Helps to Drive, Design, and accomplish the test effort and test process for Digital Platform sites and Apps

  • Review and approve test results

  • Develops and implement test plans.

  • Build along with QA Leads the Test Strategies

  • Develops and tracks test metrics

  • Ensures compliance with QA and Test lifecycle

  • Manages existing bugs and logs new bugs effectively.

  • Produce defect, status, and test reports as required.

  • Effectively communicates test results and defects reports to the stakeholders

  • Works closely with partner teams across the organization to ensure what is delivered meets test requirements and is fit for purpose

  • Manage scheduled activities as required.

Provide support to business users as necessary – reach out to tech experts to get additional information

  • May work across multiple Squads or across multiple lines of business

  • Deliver the required Status reporting is provided to the timetable and timescales required

Preferred Education/ qualifications:

  • Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • Significant technical-centric job experience (3+ years).

  • Proven work experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role

  • Advanced verbal and written level in English.

Specific Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in working with Agile methodology and delivery processes

  • Good knowledge of software development lifecycles

  • Knowledge of software testing lifecycles

  • Strong knowledge in QA fundamentals definitions, Test types,

  • Strong experience working with Jira. Ability to generate reports, and dashboards using its tools.

  • Knowledge of traditional Release Management and Operations processes (waterfall)

  • Experience working with different types of testing – Functional, Integration, Non Functional

  • Knowledge of testing web-based applications on Mobiles / Desktop

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across all functions

  • Solid grasp of Test and QA Methodology and Principles

  • Comfortable in a Digital First Environment – Passionate about building out Digital Solutions for customers

  • Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities.

  • Desirable experience in working with confluence.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • It is a plus if the candidate has Experience of working with automation frameworks for deployment, testing and security (Appium, Cypress and others)
