Liberty Latin America Associate Manager Carrier Services LLA in Panama

What's the role

The Associate Manager Carrier Services LLA will perform functions for all LLA Markets: CWP, CWC (UTS, BTC, Flow), LCR, and LPR & USVI. Will lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing our roaming, A2P. ILD and IX services.

What you'll do

  • Lead strategic Initiatives and manage project execution

  • Oversee the project management and implementation aspects of new platforms, projects, and network modifications, ensuring seamless implementation to improve customer experience and contribute to the company's profitability.

  • Keep updated status reports and executive summaries to properly communicatestatus, challenges, and time plans for the different activities.

  • De-risk plans for Annual Goals and Achievements

  • Supervise end-to-end projects for roaming and interconnection services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and meeting project milestones.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of processes that are required for roaming and interconnection services.

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper execution of End to End projects, and align with business objectives and customer expectations.

  • Act as a central point of contact for communication with various departments within the company and third-party vendors.

  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and successful collaboration.

  • Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee the successful delivery of roaming and interconnection services.

  • Monitor project outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to provide visibility on the status, challenges, and time plans for different projects.

  • Present regular updates to Roaming and Interconnection leaders and other key stakeholders, highlighting achievements and addressing any issues.

  • Utilize bilingual proficiency to facilitate communication with teams and vendors in different languages.

  • Ensure clear and effective communication, addressing language-specific nuances.

Preferred Education/ qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in project management are a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience with 3+ years of experience in roaming, ILD, and interconnection in a fixed-mobile operator.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in successfully managing and implementing telecommunication projects. Roaming and interconnection experience is a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience working in a large telco in a complex operational environment managing cross-functional teams.

  • Experience and appreciation of working in a customer-focused environment are essential.

  • Strong understanding of telecommunication networks and industry trends.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of telecommunication networks and industry trends.

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Ability to drive improvement programs across diverse and complex environments.

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach.

  • Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes, and achieve improvements and best practice.

  • Organized and responsible person, able to work with minimal supervision or assistance.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations. English and Spanish required.
