Intel RAN Early Customer Enablement Application Engineer in Malaysia

Job Description

Join our exciting journey of building best in class Radio Access Network solution.

Working closely with the customers, program manager, product validation, and engineering team, the successful candidate would take Intel RAN and IP products though the Intel quality-requirement process to be deployed to the RAN ecosystem partners. This involves contributing to the product launching collaterals and training creations. In addition, the role includes elements of supporting customers' issues troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the pre-product launch tasks include creating, reviewing, tracking, and delivering pre-production collaterals and trainings.

  • Contributes to the early enablement tier-1 customer facing, troubleshooting customer issues.

  • Delivering product training, resolving customers' inquiries, demo and PoC staging.

  • Collaborates with cross function team, product execution, and customer from different Geos (NA and Europe)

  • Drives results, and demonstrates Intel values, and sharing the knowledge with others PAEs.

Product Scope:

Including but not limited to:

  • IA Platform

  • BIOS, OS drivers, and SW Tools chain

  • Networking, Packet Processing, and DPDK

  • Fronthaul, Midhaul, and backhaul interface, IEEE1588 and SyncE

  • 4G, 5G CU and DU

This is a hybrid role is based in the Penang, Malaysia with worldwide partners and worldwide customers.

Some travel should be expected.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years or a Master with 3+ years of experience in

  • Intel Architecture Platform knowledge

  • Platform Software (BIOS, FW, Driver, OS/VM) and tool chains

  • Hardware Architecture, Hardware Systems and Subsystems

  • Technical Documentation, Technical Requirement Definition and Design

  • Customer Support, troubleshooting, and good communication skill.

  • Wireless Segment Ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Architecture Feature Definition

  • 4G/5G Wireless Communication

  • Networking, Packet Processing, and DPDK

  • Ethernet protocols, CPRI, eCPRI and O-RAN interfaces

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Fundamentals

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
