Oracle Database Privileged Access Management enables customers to grant, audit, and revoke the time-bound access Oracle has to the cloud infrastructure dedicated to the customer and administered by Oracle, and to obtain audit reports of all actions taken by a human operator, in a near real-time manner. Operator Access Control is a industry-leading compliance audit system that maintain the same level of audits and access control to the customer systems, and provide the audit records required for internal or external regulatory audits across all of their systems. Operator Access Control is a strategic service that enables regulated customers to migrate their on-premise systems to Oracle's Exa-based Cloud Services (Exadata Cloud Service, Exadata Cloud@Customer, Autonomous Database Dedicated Infrastructure, Autonomous Database Cloud@Customer).

We are looking for passionate and result-oriented candidates to join the growing service team. The service team works on all aspects of the service: from design and development to support and automation of day to day operations. You will become a part of the team involved in multiple high-profile projects with high visibility across the Oracle development organization.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems for Oracle databases deployed in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
We are a global team with locations in US and Oracle’s India Development Centre (IDC) Bangalore.
Brief Posting Description : We are currently looking for highly motivated engineers with systems knowledge to work in the Oracle Database Privileged Access Management team and Oracle Database Multicloud Integration team. This person would be involved in architecture, design, prototype, development and maintenance of the various aspects of Database on Cloud releases. The position is open in our Mexico location.
Qualifications and experience: BS or MS (Computer Sc, Electronics or Electrical Engg).
A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 3 years in Cloud technologies
Experience working with Cloud infrastructure APIs, REST API model, and developing REST APIs
Strong Database Management knowledge and understanding of the Database eco-system
Competency in programming with Java, PERL or Python, Linux, Shell Scripting
Ability to design large, scalable systems for enterprise customers
Concepts of multi-tenancy: DB-as-a-Service (DBaaS) or similar (PaaS, IaaS), cloud security, Multicloud (Azure,GCP,AWS) virtualization and Service Level Availability a strong plus
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Experience in LCM (Life Cycle Management) on Cloud preferred
Networking (Designing Virtual private networks, virtual cloud networks, subnet and security lists, DNS)
Kubernetes operations
Containerization with Docker and Helm Charts
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OKE, Compute, DBaaS, Autonomous DB, Networking, Log Analytics, IDCS, etc.)

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Work on features for Oracle Database Privileged Access Management and Oracle Database Multicloud Integration , which includes but may not be limited to the following:
Work closely with senior developers and architects as well as Product Management, IT and Operations teams for architecting, designing and developing Database Cloud products
Participate in transformational projects to deliver scalable, extensible and differentiated Platform-as-a-Service on the Cloud
Interact with various Oracle Product teams to understand how those can be integrated into the Operator Access Control offering
Developing scripts to automate various tasks
Reporting of insights via dashboards
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
Work weekends and/or holidays as required for 24x7 critical support
Performing root cause analysis for production errors
Investigating and resolving technical issues on alarms and monitoring
