Though the position does not require proficiency with the Japanese language, it is desirable to be familiar with the local customs and have a desire to understand how to best integrate the projects requirements within boundaries of the host countries environment and culture.
Your Role and Your Impact:
As a critical point of contact, you will bridge the operational landscape between our USSF program office in El Segundo, CA, and the strategic operations at the Misawa Security Operation Center (MSOC) in Misawa Air Base, Japan . Your insights and management skills will be pivotal in the seamless integration of sophisticated systems and the robust security measures that protect them.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Liaison: Forge and maintain essential communication channels between stateside program offices and in-theater stakeholders, enabling seamless coordination of project management.
Technical Stewardship: Provide your expertise in data and technical management to advance our mission-critical capabilities via meticulous configuration management and control.
Security Vigilance: Conduct security oversight of facility construction, ensuring alignment with Intelligence Community standards.
Operational Excellence: Keep a diligent record of site activities, ensuring all operations proceed without compromise.
Access Control: Implement appropriate security protocols to supervise personnel, equipment movements, and uphold the integrity of the work site.
Advisory Expertise: Navigate and enforce local and USSF policies regarding physical security protocols, providing escort and oversight for uncleared personnel.
Administrative Acuity: Manage documentation processes, including visit access and equipment requests, with precision and care.
Rapid Response: Show readiness to tackle emergency network issues under the guidance of Subject Matter Experts, preserving mission continuity.
Qualifications
Your Launchpad:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years in roles that have honed your project management and leadership capabilities.
Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs.
Must have an in-scope Polygraph examination.
Desired Qualifications:
Master Degree in Business Management, technical management, and/or engineering.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
Familiarity of construction regulations for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (Intelligence Community Directive 705).
Experience with DoD or private sector construction management.
