About the job

Our Team:

Act as a bridge between Sales and marketing functions by delivering the brand strategy inside the stores

  • To develop the Trade Marketing Plan for growing the sales of CHC brands by defining the need of the customer, designing the marketing and creative inputs and facilitating the execution of the plan through the Sales team

  • To act as an effective link between Sales and Marketing by ensuring that the required information is readily available to each other and exchanged in a timely and comprehensive manner.

  • Define GTM strategy and win in store model for executional excellence for our brands

  • To understand and comply with the organization Code of Ethics for the role

  • To understand and communicate organization values across the section

Main responsibilities:

Key R&R

  • To develop and execute Trade Marketing Strategy for brands nationally

  • Conceptualizing and formulating trade marketing calendar as per business strategy

  • Drive width and depth for existing, new and focus Products in trade.

  • Building Retailer Relationship through effective trade programs

  • Design and Execution of Distributor and Wholesale channel engagement programs

  • Collect and disseminate Best Practice for profitable Trade Marketing activities

  • POSM and Activation Management: Manage & execute the activation calendar, as agreed with Central Marketing and the Regional team.

  • Competition Tracking and Monitoring to gather market insights & develop effective trade programs in line with market requirements

  • Responsible for developing /improving Visibility tools & developing counter-competitive strategies in co-ordinance with Marketing & Sales Team for smooth execution in market place

  • Implement& drive SFA tool PAN India

  • New Product launches – Work collaboratively with brand teams on NPD Launches. Own the promotion/ placement- distribution and visibility strategy

Financial Dimensions

  • Keeping trade spends within approved budgets

  • Analyze and keep track of the Return on Trade Investments

Non-Financial Dimensions

  • Ensuring desired Market hygiene

  • Market visibility in line with the merchandising principles

  • Data Analysis - Create effective marketing program by identifying and analyzing requisite data, evaluating product needs,

  • Collaborates with Supply chain for Dispatches of Samples and other material.

  • Trade activation program driving the activation and engagement rate of Wholesalers and Hub retailers. monthly reporting on activations done and feedback on engagement programs

About you

  • Qualification

  • Graduate

  • Post Graduate Degree in Management, with a specialization in Marketing

  • A total experience of 6 to 8 years in the Sales and Marketing Function with a minimum 3 years’ experience in trade marketing functions

  • FMCG; Consumer healthcare industry experience is a plus

  • Experience :

  • Technical skills :

  • Product / industry Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the latest trends in Marketing

  • Understanding of the consumer healthcare trends

  • Financial Management Knowledge

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Business Acumen and entrepreneurial traits

  • Strong analytical ability- Proficient in tools (e.g., MS Office, Power point; Macros)

  • Creativity to design high quality campaigns and promotional material

  • Self-Driven and accountability

  • Languages : English
