IHG Assistant Director of Conference & Events in India

  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for conferences, banquets, and other events.

  • Support in managing client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

  • Aid in planning and coordinating events, working with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of sales and event coordinators, providing guidance and support.

  • Assist with budget management for events, monitoring financial performance to meet revenue targets.

  • Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to inform sales strategies and identify opportunities.

  • Help negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and align with our policies.

  • Participate in marketing and promotional activities to enhance the visibility of our conference and banquet services.

  • Ensure that all events adhere to our quality standards and address any issues or concerns as they arise.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements for all events.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in sales or event management, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.

  • Proficiency in event management and CRM software.

  • Understanding of market trends and industry best practices.
