The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead IT Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in our Health and Claims pillar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing business analysis activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the delivery of IT solutions within the Health and Claims domain. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare industry processes, claims management, and a strong focus on leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications would be an advantage.

  • 15 years+ of experience as a business analyst, with at least 5 years of leadership experience. Proven experience as a business analyst in the insurance industry, specifically within the Health and Claims domain will be a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of claims processing systems, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.

  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and requirements management tools.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Awareness of full-technology stack

  • Experience on Agile delivery model will be an adavantage

  • Has a natural ability to breakdown, decompose and describe business needs into Stories supporting an iterative and incremental delivery model. Applies knowledge to market demands and addresses potential customer requirements

On the job you will:

  • Lead the business analysis function within the Health and Claims pillar Business Analyst and Quality Assurance team, working closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges.

  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify, evaluate, and prioritize IT solutions that align with the strategic goals of the Health and Claims domain.

  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, functional specifications, and validation of deliverables.

  • Gatekeep the initiative intake. Ensure the initiative aligning with company strategy and delivering value

  • Conduct comprehensive business process analysis, documenting current state and future state processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide expertise in healthcare industry practices, claims management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that IT solutions meet industry standards and best practices.

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT development teams, facilitating effective communication and alignment of business needs with IT capabilities.

  • Mentor and guide junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

  • Champion the adoption of best practices in business analysis, ensuring that methodologies, tools, and processes are consistently applied across projects.

  • Conducts feasibility studies, prepares budget analyses and resourcing requirements

  • Support to resolve production incidents and communicate with business counterparts
