Location: Kingston

The role is based in the centre of Kingston, where you have a wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants at your fingertips. The office is home to a restaurant, a fruit and ice-cream bar, and a subsidised shop offering a selection of our Unilever products.

Job Purpose

For Unilever to remain competitive in the future, the business needs to continue the path to become data intelligent. The Data & Insights team will persevere to make Unilever Data Intelligent; powering key decisions with data, insights, advanced analytics and AI.

This Data & Analytics function endeavours to create clear accountability for all aspects of Data Strategy, Data Management, Information Management, Analytics, and Insights. We would be accountable for impact of solutions, maintaining market relevance and minimising unnecessary overlaps in analytics products, ensuring simplicity and that our solutions better meet the needs of our users.

We would partner with the Digital and Data Legal Counsel to ensure that our Data Defence (Privacy, Governance, Quality, etc) is well structured and sufficiently robust to use data and AI correctly throughout the enterprise. We would democratize information across the business, while supporting the culture shift required for data driven decision making. Further, this team would drive capacity unlock from manual and duplicative reporting capabilities, while also refocusing a portion of the unlock on embedding predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities into our highest potential opportunities.

The SC Transformation Manager supports the D&A Supply Chain Director to drive value from Supply Chain analytical products and solutions. The Engagement Manager supports leading the global agenda and data, information and analytics roadmap for Supply Chain also ensuring robust operations and budget management.


Work closely with SC Director to identify new opportunities with the business for adding value through data and especially Analytics Work with the business to capture high level requirements to inform proposals Support Product Managers in the delivery of products, supporting them in interactions with the business, validation of solutions & launching products Budget management across D&A and iOPS programmes ensuring robust tracking of actuals and necessary cross charges. Facilitate the development of a long term visions and own the roadmap of data and analytics capability build across the SC to support the digitisation agenda

All About You


  • Global Project Management, Budgeting and Tracking

  • Supply Chain process knowledge

  • Good understanding of data and KPIs that support Supply Chain

  • Strong Business Partnering capability and experience.

  • Experience of delivering projects and working with multiple business teams and stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience of delivering End to end Data and Analytics global projects

  • Strong enough knowledge of data science to be able to communicate plans, results and performance to stakeholders

  • Ability to lead in a complex ambiguous environment

  • Ability to create a vision of a data and analytics enabled SC and turn that into reality
