Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in determining how best to use Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization solutions to meet the client’s business needs

  • Work with business experts to define future business processes and agree the changes required (configuration extension) to successfully adopt the standard Oracle Retail solution

  • Work with Business and/or Technical Consultants to translate the business needs into end to end solution configuration or integration requirements

  • Deliver the Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization configuration extensions to support the agreed business processes

  • Ensure the solution being implemented is robust and consistent with the agreed solution design through active participation in formal solution test phases

  • Transfer knowledge to nominated customer experts to enable successful adoption and support of the new solution

  • Proactively drive key risks, issues and decisions through to satisfactory resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Strong knowledge of the Oracle Retail Planning and Optimization platform (RPAS), both on Premise and Cloud and experience in Retail Planning and Optimization application configuration

  • Strong understanding of retail business processes in fashion planning, category planning or supply chain

  • Ability to present and demo planning or supply chain processes, product features and value in a compelling way

  • Good presentation and workshop facilitation skills

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Fluent in Portuguese, both written and spoken

  • The position can require an estimated 70% travel availability.
