Technical Pre-Sales Engineer

What will you be doing at Arrow Enterprise Solutions?

• You will be responsible for working with sales reps, business partners and end users to create systems configurations based on customer requirements.

• Your focus will be on IBM Software portfolio: Data and AI; IT Automation and App Modernization; Sustainability Software; Security Software

• You will create systems configurations based on customer requirements, offer product recommendations, that may present a better solution to the customer.

• You will train sales reps and partner engineers on IBM Software

• You will keep up to date with new products that are introduced and maintain product certifications.

• You will prepare technical presentations and vendor trainings to partners on products and solutions and provide product demonstrations to show how a product meets client needs.

• This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.

• Candidate has knowledge and experience in own discipline and may still be acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. Candidate builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of straightforward problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. A moderate level of guidance and direction is provided.
