The digital automation center (DAC) is the Express Global RPA expertise center, from which high-quality and complex digitalization services are provided for various DHL business units globally and cross functional. Besides RPA also other digitalization technologies are being used (ML, NLP, API, Smart OCR, image processing and others. DAC is part of the CEO office and is ideally positioned to create the necessary digitalization momentum and has also teams respectively based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and San Jose, Costa Rica & Maastricht, Netherlands.

Working within DAC is quite exiting as we are active within all functional areas (such as Customer Service, Customs, Network Operations, etc.) within the DHL Express organization and fully focused on digitalization and automation.

About the role:

As a Senior Business Analyst you will be expected to manage (global) deployment projects, as well as to be able to assume the lead in managing suitable project streams/workgroups, taking responsibility for the necessary people, project and performance management aspects. Your analytical and conceptual capabilities meet the challenge posed by complex problems. Your work also involves doing detailed process analyses to monitor digital solutions and to identify gaps where actions would be necessary.

Your business area

You will be a part of our Digital Automation Center and you will be based in SSC Costa Rica.

Main Accountabilities

Business analysis services

Responsible for detailed process analysis for endorsed initiatives to assess if digital automation would be a proper solution

Perform detailed GAP analysis to ensure automation roll out the digital solution is suitable for a country/region

Use agile data modelling practices to analyze and create suggestions for adequate business solutions. Monitor digital solutions and identify GAPS by preparing technical and/or business reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Serve as a liaison between business users and IT team in all phases of development.

Work with application support team to troubleshoot issues and/or answer user support questions.

Exhibits willingness and ability to adapt and learn new technologies.

Utilizes appropriate communication lines in relaying problems, concerns, questions, and ideas.

Project management

Overall responsible to support PM in project assessment and project management of deployments

Set up a standard deployment toolkit to facilitate regional and/or global deployments

Roll out deployments. Keep deployment heat map up to date.

Drive testing and acceptance of project results

Lead streams or (smaller) project teams

Translate project requirements into project objectives and tasks

Support administration of project management plans and processes for successful project execution Monitor proactively risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility and escalation

Obtain feedback at any critical project milestones and at project completion to ensure that projects efforts meets customer expectations

Utilize project management processes and methodologies at all times

Ability to work under strict guidelines, competing priorities, and immediate requests.

Performs other tasks or special projects as assigned.

Stakeholder management & Teamwork

Manage complexity: multiple stakeholders, multiple countries and gain buy-in for project goals

Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to the governance model

Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns

Builds partnerships to collaborate and uses influence to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and support groups

Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in a team environment with both the IT team and business users.

Ability to work with business users and stakeholders successfully and able to communicate technical content in a non-technical manner.

Interview stakeholders to understand high level requirements and convert them to detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications and obtain sign-off.

Required Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and/or leading (global) projects

Experience 3+ years with project management methodology (PMI)

Experience with Agile Methodologies as SCRUM, Kanban.

Fluent in English

Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong interest in Robotic Process and other Digital Automation areas

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field

Experience with Power BI

3+ years of experience working with digitalization or technology projects.

Familiar UIPATH or any other automation programs applying business analyst process.

Experience in working with Data Governance, Master Data Management, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Metadata Management and/or Data Quality Management solutions is a plus
