Software Engineer Summer Intern
In this position you will be responsible for developing test software for Client products at Dell Technologies. Specifically, you will be part of a software team developing test diagnostics that will be used to validate the quality of various Dell Technologies Client products. This opportunity offers a wide breadth of experiences and a dynamic work environment. It will offer opportunities to build on your current experience and develop critical skills needed to succeed in a leading technical environment.

What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer on our team you will work alongside other engineers developing test diagnostics to validate the quality of our Client products. The teams are very dynamic and provide a great environment to learn new skills. The position will also allow you to grow professionally by being part of an outstanding technology company and gaining valuable real-life experience.
You will:
Be assigned a specific software project within the team with goals and deliverables.
Be an integral part of the software team reporting on your project status and working through issues.
Provide project updates to team or group allowing you to build on your presentation skills.
Interface with electrical engineers, manufacturing, quality and test engineers to ensure the successful development and launch of new test diagnostics.

Essential Requirements:
Software Engineering field of study with some familiarity with hardware designs.
Prior experience of study in embedded system design using micro-controllers, analog and digital system design; and knowledge of the scripting language like C/C++, Assembly, or Linux programing.
Python programming experience.
The candidate should exhibit high levels of motivation, and the ability to quickly and thoroughly learn new and complex topics.
Fluency in English and good communication skills.
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience working with IDE tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio.
History of developing application software using Python and C#.
