IHG Security Supervisor in Switzerland

Duties and Responsibilities

As Security Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

Assist in controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all resort properties, guests, hosts and to follow the instructions of the Safety/Security Manager.

Conduct security patrol within and around the resort.

Coordinate activities of all uniformed outsourced guards engaged in the implementation of management, safety and security procedures of the resort.

Represent Safety/Security Manager while on shift in handling emergency cases at the resort in accordance with resort policy.

Coordinate closely with engineering, reception, food and beverage, housekeeping hosts to ensure guest safety and security.

Check and ensure performance of uniformed outsourced security guards.

Recommend to Safety/Security Manager areas of improvements in safety and security activities.

Review all security reports submitted at the end of shift to see if accurate and complete.

Inform the Safety/Security Manager of any incidents that have occurred in the resort.

Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.

Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Security Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting.

Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various security systems. I must have updated certifications on First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator certification.

Fluent in English; I understand that French is preferred.

Candidate must hold a EU passport to apply and / or Swiss citizenship
