Bureau Vertias North America Senior Software Developer- Full Stack in Canada

As Senior Software Developer the role is largely responsible for designing and implementing Windows and Web applications. The primary responsibilities of this role would be working with product development team and DBA Team to build new components to the system, as well as maintaining and updating existing software and databases.

What You'll Do:

·Responsible for working with product development team to build new components to the system, as well as maintaining and updating existing software.

· Assist in system architecting, designing and development of Bureau Veritas Web and windows systems.

· Work with existing developers in providing support for the data-base driven software products.

· Develop test data for use in unit, integration, and user testing to ensure that application meets application design specifications.

· Ensure that departmental development standards are followed.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Bring:

· University degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field.

· 5+ years of designing and implementing object oriented distributed applications using .NET technologies in C#.

· 5+ years working experience with ASP.NET/.NETCore

· 5+ years of database experience in SQL Server and stored procedures with T-SQL.

· 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer,

· Extensive HTML and CSS coding experience with C#, Windows, React, JQuery, Javascript, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and MS SQL Server.

· Experience with deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures on a public cloud platform such as AWS or Azure

· Experience with AWS cloud services including AWS EC2, S3, Event bridge, Lambda, Quick Sight are a plus

· Experience in development and architecture of robust, scalable microservice backends

· Deep experience and understanding of WEB API and MVC frameworks and of design patterns.

· Ability to elaborate functional and architectural specifications for different features.

· Knowledge of nTier application development and integration.

· Deep understanding of each of the parts that make up a modern web application (APIs, templating, routing, data storage, design patterns, optimization, caching, security) · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both development and non-development staff.

· Attentive to the needs of customers (both internal and external to the organization).

· Experience in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) applications a plus.

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000 CAD

Eligible to participate the Annual Incentive Plan

Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
