Associate Project Controls

Parsons is now hiring an Associate Project Controls Engineer who will be integrated into the regional operations team through a well-structured training and mentorship program. We are searching for an enthusiastic self-starter who is committed to his/her career development and eager to learn and grow.

Parsons’ extensive experience in this field, combined with your personal and technical skills, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. We need our Project Controls specialists to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills. In this role you will learn and perform a variety of assignments related to various project controls specialties, including planning/scheduling, cost and risk management. You will gain exposure to Company policies and industry best practices, and utilize your professional training on a variety of assignments. You may gain further experience by rotating through other operations’ functions, such as quality and/or commercial departments.

Responsibilities:

• Participate effectively in the training program through shadowing the assigned mentor(s) to learn the required skills and knowledge.

• Study the Company policies and plans, and become familiar with relevant procedures and requirements.

• Acquire necessary skills for various software, for which training will be provided by the company.

• Perform tasks, as directed, which typically include developing time schedules, preparing reports and presentations, analyzing data and providing recommendations.

• Attend meetings and/or workshops and be ready to deliver presentations as may be required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management (or related field).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven Research abilities and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with various software used in the Project Controls Department, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Previous internship experience is an advantage.
