Job Description Summary

Develop high impact innovative Digital solutions through customer engagement and agile practices within the GE/CFM MRO network and at for airline customers.

This role involves developing solutions from concept to existence, with an approach of listening to internal/external pain points and envisioning, proactively iterating, and delivering Digital solution prototypes to drive innovation in Airside/MRO services and related aviation technologies. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • AI Development: Design and deploy machine learning models for aviation and airside services.

  • Large Language Models: Lead development and fine-tuning to enhance AI capabilities.

  • Deep Learning & Computer Vision: Optimize algorithms to solve aviation technology challenges.

  • Coding: Write efficient code in Python and other relevant languages.

  • Project Management: Oversee multiple AI projects, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Innovation: Explore new technologies to improve AI solutions. Use innovation management techniques to produce market insights and robust problem definition

  • Customer Advocacy: Ensure AI solutions meet customer needs. Drive customer-centric innovation and market research to guide product enhancements.

  • Solution Development: Develop solutions from concept to implementation.

  • Prototype Creation: Lead prototype development and iteration with technical expertise.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply domain knowledge to innovation challenges. Apply aviation/airline industry insights and data analysis to position products and inform strategy

  • Idea Realization: Bring innovative ideas to life. Mature product or services lifecycle from ideation to launch.

  • Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Build relationships with stakeholders to align products with market needs and business goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 1+ years of experience in aviation product management, maintenance services, operations or engineering.

  • Experience in executing innovative product development with a focus on agile and customer-centric methods.

  • Additional qualifications and/or Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in machine learning, AI, or a related field.

Desired Characteristics

  • Airline maintenance or field service engineering experience.

  • Proficiency in Python and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

  • Strong understanding of deep learning and computer vision.
