Description We are offering a contractual role for an Accounting Clerk in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role's focus will be to manage different aspects of accounting, primarily related to Travel & Entertainment and Concur management. This position will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to policies, managing issues related to virtual cards or bookings, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to travel and entertainment policies

• Manage issues that arise regarding virtual cards or bookings

• Responsible for creating profiles and assigning credit cards for new travel groups

• Monitor the expense inbox and create vendor reports

• Assign all credit cards to the proper user in Concur

• Create tickets and review expense reports in Concur

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing

• Leverage Concur Expense for managing expense accounts

• Maintain accurate credit records for customers

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role such as Accounting Clerk or related field

• Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Concur Expense and managing Expense Accounts

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field would be advantageous

• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations

• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
