Description
We are looking for a Collections Supervisor to join our team in the Service industry located in VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia. In this role, you will be supervising a team of collection specialists and managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts. You will also be responsible for handling customer inquiries and complaints, as well as generating reports on collection performance.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of collection specialists, setting clear performance expectations and providing regular feedback
• Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, taking corrective actions to maximize recovery rates
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to outstanding payments
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve collection results
• Analyze collection data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance
• Ensure compliance with all applicable collection laws and regulations
• Generate regular reports on collection performance and present to management
• Develop training programs for collection staff based on identified needs
• Onboard new collection specialists

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the Service industry
• Demonstrable expertise in B2B collections
• Proficiency in using CRM systems for efficient collections management
• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Cash Activity
• Proven track record in managing commercial collections efficiently
• Knowledge of credit and collections processes and procedures
• Ability to provide strong leadership to the collections team
• Experience in KPI reporting and data analysis related to collections
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
• Experience in vendor oversight and vendor relationship management
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
