  • Rotating Roster (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm)

Your job, as Manufacturing Technician (FTC or UTC) within our Virginia, Brisbane site, will be for ensuring the highest quality standards are being met whilst maintaining cost competitiveness. Main responsibilities:

  • This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, predominately on Morning and Afternoon shifts

  • Carry out regular Quality Checks, rectifying any non conformances, providing ongoing training and identifying ongoing process improvements.

  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are being adhered to in a safe and hazard free environment

  • Partner closely with various stakeholders from Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Supply Chain and more

  • Use your attention to detail and problem solving skills to trouble-shoot issues and find solutions

  • Take calculated risks that are within compliance to be action orientated and decision making

  • Reporting and administrative duties related to record keeping and procedures

  • Use your automation and technical skills to upskill and excel across operational, packaging and mechanical

About you

Experience :

  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing Facility (FMCG, Consumer or Pharmaceutical environment preferred)

  • Safety culture awareness

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of GMP

  • Automation, Packaging or Mechanical skills, compression , dispensary etc (the more, the better)

  • Tech savvy- Troubleshooting and problem solving

  • High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

  • Good written communication skills

Soft Skills:

  • Methodological and strategic thinking

  • Ambitious and eager to learn and develop

  • Ability to follow procedures

  • Good levels of autonomy

  • Team orientated and collaborative

Language:

  • Good working level of English required.
