Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial, industrial and residential customers.POSITION OVERVIEW:The main duty of the dispatcher is to interact with field technicians in "real time" by assigning service calls and other job-related assignments. Also, additionally responsible for real time updates of service call status and maintaining the dispatch board, which is a critical function to keep the schedule current and organized at all times.POSITION SCHEDULE:The Night Shift Dispatcher schedule is full time. Monday - Friday, 6pm-3am* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Create, open, and close work order requestsCreate and edit purchase orders for work orders and truck stockPlan, schedule, and dispatch technicians to the appropriate customer, based on technician's skill set, location, and priority of customer needsFull ownership of the G.E. Mechanical dispatch board, ensure all work orders are moved to the appropriate locations and are completed in a timely mannerScreen phone calls and direct them to the proper departmentTake service requests from customers to create work ordersCreate new customers in software programEnsure proper work order times are entered into software programUtilize GPS tracking software to run truck reports, cross reference ticket times, locate and dispatch techniciansOther duties as directed JOB REQUIREMENTSAbility to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environmentStrong verbal & written communication skillsDispatch & data entry experience is requiredAble to work with minimal supervision, make prompt and decisive decisionsExtreme attention to detail is necessaryProficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, & Outlook)Minimum typing speed of 65 wpmOther duties as directed Rewarding Your Performance *Company paid vacation and holidaysCommission and company bonus available based on performanceCompany health care, vision, and dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for completed education coursesWebsite link: https://www.gemechanical.com/applynowG.E.
