Reichmann Land & Cattle Ag. Equipment Operator in Villard, Minnesota
Need 7 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Villard, MN. From: 04/10/2024 - 12/10/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 08/11/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store silage and grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Transport fertilizer. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment: Tractor, trucks, combine Crops: Corn, Kidney Beans, Peas, Soybeans, Wheat JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a Class D Driver's License within 30 days of hire. Random drug screening due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
