As a member of the Dining Services Department, you may work in any of the following positions: front of the house- food production/serving/cashier/barista and back of the house food production. Job duties include but are not limited to: * Set-up, maintain, and break down all service lines. Ability to prepare and/or cook food for cold production and for pizza/grill lines. Stock, rotate and replenish merchandise as needed. Back of the house production includes salad and fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, and commissary items * May work on any of the following stations serving our customers: sandwich/salad/pizza/grill/Holy Grounds areas/register stations * Cleans and sanitizes food equipment and dining room tables and chairs * Works special events/weekends as required * Assists in the dish room area if needed including sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash/recycling * Perform additional job duties as directed by supervisor or manager * Basic reading and writing skills; basic communication skills * Excellent customer service skills * Practices excellent personal hygiene habits and follows and adheres to uniform standards * Ability to: follow directions and complete assigned tasks, work with minimal supervision, and to interact with people on a constant basis * Preferred -- High school diploma or equivalent * Preferred -- Basic knowledge of food service safety and sanitation * Preferred -- Serv Safe Training and Allergy Awareness Training * Ability to stand for extended periods * Ability to lift, push/pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40 pounds with assistance * Ability to withstand extreme temperatures SCHEDULE during normal operating hours Monday -- Friday 7:30am -- 1:30pm 09/17/2024$17.50 per hour Dnon-exempt
