Central States Manufacturing West Coast National Sales Director in Villa Rica, Georgia

Description

This sales position targets new business opportunities of exceptional value to the company and develops growth plans for strategic customers. Core Functions:

  • Follows the Business Unit sales process on top prospects in the company. Presents out-of-the-box ideas to secure business, transferring to territory sales team at initial job quotation completion.

  • Identify architects, developers, general contractors, construction managers, and engineers leads and educates on Business Unit products and services.

  • Deliver qualified professional education credit courses.

  • Utilizes the CRM in all aspects of the sales process according to Business Unit standards.

  • Acts as the Business Unit’s primary liaison with key decision makers at top accounts in order to satisfy those customers’ needs, exercising discretion and independent judgment in the process up to initial job quotation completion.

  • Applies and develops professional sales skills and ability to sell consultatively.

  • Has or can develop an understanding of the metal building business.

  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

  • Developing consistent new business each year.

  • Handle all escalated issues autonomously from assigned accounts.

  • Ability to create presentations for customers using Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.

Education & Experience: Minimum Required:• 10+ years of outside sales experience.Preferred:• Bachelor’s degree in relative field• Experience managing project timelines and resourcing.Physical Demands & Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and in a non-temperature-controlled environment. While performing the core function of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and required to lift to 35 lbs.
