We're seeking a Station Manager for Delivery Station for our managing our Delivery Operations. In this role you will be responsible for managing a delivery site in performance management and driving the operational plan.
Title: Site Lead - Delivery Station
Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh
Essential Functions
Working with the Cluster Operations Manager to ensure smooth function of the Amazon transportation operations
Preparation of manpower roster for daily operations in lines with the organizational rules & guidelines
Executing the delivery process from delivery station to customer address
Monitoring daily station operations & ensure that organizational targets are met without any compromise on Customer Promise and associate Safety
Executing the package pick-up process from customer address to delivery station & connecting the same to origin
Executing the package pick-up process from seller & connecting that to respective node/ delivery hub
Ensure enough bandwidth in delivery team to ensure peak time delivery management
Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement
Asset & infrastructure management which includes maintenance & upkeep, accounting, distribution & custody
Conduct of various associate engagement activities to ensure smooth operations

Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Good communication skills. Ability to communicate and explain to individuals & the team, what needs to be achieved for the Delivery Center /Amazon to achieve its objectives. Listening skills: Gains input and commitment from all involved in delivering their specific part.
Strong Bias for great customer service: Engage the Team in developing their understanding of Customer Experience and knowledge of what Customers actually needs/expects.
High Ownership: Follows through to ensure the delivery of changes/solutions/services that fulfill the Customer’s needs.
Analytical Skills: Effectively analyse and interpret information, identifying & validating the key facts, including reviewing alternatives to determine advantages and associated risks.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of employee and performance management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
