Job Description

In this challenging position as Product Manager you will design and drive the implementation of BPMS, the new plasma donation management system used in BioLife Europe. As a valued Sparring Partner with a profound understanding of BioLife operations processes, you will define necessary business requirements in close cooperation with our plasma center teams and work with the technical Product Owner to implement these requirements for routine use.

This position may be located in any of the three countries of BioLife´s operations (Austria, Czech Republic or Hungary).

Your Opportunity:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for the plasma donation management system in close alignment with the EU Leadership Team

  • Ensure alignment to existing and future BioLife EU business processes by focusing on the needs of our plasma center teams

  • Gather, manage and prioritize market and user requirements

  • Support product implementation and development projects (e.g. vendor selection)

  • Operational owner of product design, product development and product launch

  • Manage the creative process of generating, developing and curating new ideas

  • Participate in planning, system demos and workshops

  • Act as a mediator between the users and the product owner/ technical teams, communicate user needs and translate them into new product features

  • Identify business problem scenarios and challenging areas with potential for improvement through automation

  • Manage the expectations of stakeholders and help to identify viable compromises for all parties

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed academic education in a technical or business-related field or equivalent working experience

  • Very good English required, additional knowledge of at least one of the languages in BioLife Europe: German, Czech or Hungarian

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills - resolve conflicts, leverage diversity, build relationships and trust

  • Excellent computer user knowledge

  • Experience in GMP and/or healthcare environment

  • Experience in Computer System Validation

  • Experience in project management, consultation and facilitation

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project tracking with Jira

  • Ability to navigate sensitive and difficult situations and to adapt to changing corporate priorities and expectations

  • Customer-centric mindset, quick response to operational changes

  • Willingness to travel 30% - 40% of the working time between the BioLife EU locations (in the beginning, the focus will be on Czech Republic and Vienna, later moving to Austria and Hungary), the rest of the working time can be managed in a combination of home office and/ or from one of our offices (Vienna, Brno or Budapest) or one of the BioLife plasma centers

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is € 5.222,35 gross per month in case of a contract of employment in Austria (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
