Our client is a leading manufacturing company looking for a Permanent Certified Tool and Die Maker with excellent maintenance skills in Victoria, BC.
Shift: Monday- Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Fabricate, maintain, and repair press tooling, fixtures, robot end effectors, and equipment.
Fabricate, maintain, and repair process fixturing for any and all departments.
Provide machining services including milling, turning, wire EDM, sinker EDM, and EDM drilling.
Utilize CAD/CAM software, primarily Autodesk Inventor and MasterCAM.
Perform grinding, steel hardening, and brazing operations.
Carry out hand work, fitting, polishing, and utilize 3D printing technology.
Read and interpret engineering and CAD drawings.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and accuracy in all aspects of production.
About you:
Must Have either a BC Ticket as a Tool and Die Maker or hold interprovincial red seal certification.
Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is a must.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, along with experience in CAD/CAM software, are required.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential.
Ability to thrive within a collaborative team environment is necessary.
