Genesis Corp Electronics Engineering Manager in Versailles, Ohio

Genesis10 is seeking a Electronics Engineering Manager for a leading company in Versailles, OH. This is a direct hire, W2 position in Cleveland, OH that will be onsite 5 days per week. Candidates must be a USC or Green Card Holder and able to work on a W2 basis with Genesis10. Job Description: The Electronics Engineering Manager will lead the Electrical area in Product Engineering to deliver new products on time, on budget, and within quality targets. The Functional Engineering Manager will be responsible for adherence to NPD process, regulatory requirements of new products, and teammate development within the functional area. A successful manager in this role will lead an engineering team engaged in multiple project initiatives. The Electronics Engineering Manager is also responsible for the technical development of teammates. This role will make resource allocation decisions along with other engineering managers and product management as to how best develop and resource projects in the portfolio. Job Duties: Develops the technical skill level of the teammates within engineering function. Provides in the moment, honest feedback to assist in teammate development. Has accountability for the technical and design management of assigned current and new products. This is accomplished by effectively applying appropriate engineering, scientific, and design technologies and management techniques. Partners with engineering managers and other organizational functions to meet departmental and organizational goals. Through appropriate engagement and education, maintains up-to-date knowledge in all areas of responsibility. Develops standards and processes to improve functional performance and effectiveness of team Ultimately responsible for the delivery of engineering capability to satisfy product design demands of the organization. Leads and directs team members in managing electrical, firmware and software projects and activities. Supports/contributes writing product requirement, Risk, and other key project deliverables and documents. Develops procedures and processes to insure the efficiency and effectiveness of product development and testing and compliance with FDA regulations. Assures product quality by designing proper testing methods. Evaluates problems and recommends solutions. Writes engineering specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria. Provides cost and time estimates for projects. Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software. Maintains product database by writing computer programs and entering data. Identifies opportunities and leads projects. Leads and coordinates work with customers, suppliers, or outside contractors. Organizes and prioritizes work for across multiple areas. Mentors members of the engineering group in the functional areas of expertise. Increases the engineering capacity of the organization by building more and better engineering competence through training, mentorship, knowledge transfer, standardization, separation of work, and application of problem solving among other applicable MPS principles. Manage and direct a team of firmware, electrical, software or hardware engineers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering field with 8 years of related experience. Minimum 2 years management/supervision/mentorship experience. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Oracle preferred. PLM Agile preferred. Ability to analyze and interpret data and use that to influence change. Familiarity with Lean principles and concepts. Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations.
