Aerotek Die Setter/Machine Operator in Versailles, Kentucky
Description:
This client is one of the world's leading suppliers of glass and glazing systems in the business areas of Architectural, Automotive and Creative Technology. Versailles, Kentucky – production of both laminated and toughened glass.
-Qualified candidates will be running CBG or Lamination lines - CBG is the Cut Break Glass line and it is the first of 3 steps of the manufacturing process.
-After CBG the product goes to the Tempering line and then the Lamination line. Cut Break Glass is taking the raw material (A block of glass) and cutting it into sheets that will become windshields.
-Tempering hardens that glass materials into what it needs to be and Lamination essentially makes the product ready to ship with painting, heat testing, etc.
This position will involve setting up the machine, plugging in the correct specifications of the machine, monitoring the product and reporting any defects/broken glass and troubleshooting the reason for those defects and getting the machine recalibrated. They will then be expected to use a Forklift to take product to the next point in the manufacturing process.
Must PASS the Operator test to be set up for an interview, need a resume alongside the Op2 test.
22/hr. – 3 Month CTH, All night shift 223, 6pm – 6am
NSG is HOT when it’s hot outside and COLD when it’s cold outside
Need experience with CNC Machinery, Machine Operation or relevant experience.
